Are you taking new patients?
Yes and we try to see new patients as soon as possible.
How do I make an appointment?
If you are a new patient, we recommend that your referring physician call our office to
schedule an appointment. We will obtain previous medical records and other information
from your referring physician.
Where do I park?
There is free parking in the area just outside our front doors for patients seeing one of the medical oncology doctors.
Is there wheel chair accessibility?
Yes, wheel chair accessibility is present at our office. There are also wheel chairs available for use at our site.
Are you affiliated with the Cedar Rapids hospitals?
All of our physicians have medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center and St. Luke's Hospital where they will see new patients or hospitalize patients for whom they are the attending physicians.
What health insurance do you work with?
We work with a variety of insurance companies. On your first visit you will meet with our financial counselor to discuss what your insurance company will or will not cover. We will also collect all the insurance information, open an account for each patient, post payments to all accounts, file insurance claims and send out monthly statements.
What do I do in case of emergency?
We have a physician available 24 hours a day to assist your medical needs. The number to call is 319-363-8303. When our office is closed, our answering service will take your message and the physician on call will contact you. If you are not contacted within 15 minutes, please call again and inform the answering service. If you think the event is life threatening you should always call emergency medical services at 911.
